Who are VIP Weddings Films?
VIP Weddings Films is a wedding film studio based in Cascais, Portugal, founded by Diogo D’Athouguia. We have filmed weddings since 2010 and have filmed more than 500, including more than 200 Indian weddings. VIP Weddings Films is a registered trademark (INPI no. 654980) and is not affiliated with any other studio with a similar name.
Where are you based?
In Cascais, near Lisbon. We film weddings across Portugal, from Sintra and Cascais to the Douro and the Algarve, and travel abroad for destination weddings.
Do you film multi-day Indian weddings?
Yes. More than two hundred of our weddings were Indian, from the haldi and mehndi to the pheras, the sangeet and the vidaai. We plan the coverage of every day with your planner.
Do you work with our wedding planner?
Always. We build our plan from your planner’s timeline, and agree the music and key moments before the wedding.
How much does a wedding film cost?
It depends on the number of days and the films you want. We share our collections privately after a first conversation. Tell us your date and we will send them.
How do we receive our films?
In your private couples’ area on our website, where you can watch and download every film. We deliver them within 9 months.
How far ahead should we book?
Ideally a year ahead, especially for summer dates. But if you are lucky, we can sometimes still find a date up to 60 days before the wedding, so it is always worth asking.
